Illinois Live Steamers!
|
|
Riding Ticket Although the ILS is a private large scale model railroad club, the property is often visited by family members and guests of members. As such, the ILS established a “Riding Ticket” program as a means of calling attention to various safety considerations that live steamers, miniature railroad enthusiasts and all guests should be aware of while on ILS property. The Riding Ticket clearly states several do’s and don’t for passengers riding trains. The reverse side of the ticket includes a basic statement regarding the construction and operation of trains on ILS tracks. Passengers are expected to read, understand and abide by the rules so that they will have an enjoyable experience. A tear-off stub on the Riding Ticket is provided for all visitors to sign. Riding tickets may be saved as a souvenir and displayed at a later date if revisiting the club property. There is no cost for the Riding Ticket to ride trains at the ILS. Riding Tickets are numbered so the club can keep track of event attendance.
